YU Yureka 2 with QuickCharge 3.0 Launched – Specs & Price

Micromax recently made left us all impressed by rocking the new Micromax Canvas Infinity in their smartphones segment of devices, and now its sidekick Yu-Televentures has decided to do the same by unveiling the brand new Yu Yureka 2. The phone will up for sale exclusively via Flipkart India at the price tag of Rs 11,999.

The Yu Yureka 2 is nothing like the previous-gen Yureka, it is completely overhauled with all new specs, the only thing that remains same is the trust and quality of Yu Televentures. The phone will be available during the Big Billion Day sale starting from September 20th on Flipkart and if we’re lucky we might see some extra offers bundled alongside too.

YU Yureka 2 Specifications

The specifications of the device are as follows:

  • The device sports a 5.5 inch full HD display with a pixel resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
  • The smartphone derives its power from a Octa-Core 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625.
  • It holds a 64GB onboard storage capacity that can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card while running on 4GB of RAM.
  • The Yu Yureka 2 rocks a 16 MegaPixel camera on the rear with LED Flash and primary camera features like AutoFocus, NightMode, MultiShot etc and a 8 MegaPixel selfie camera.
  • On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth and OTG Support.
  • The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow while measuring to 152.6×76.5×8.2 mm.

Considering the price tag of the device, the Yu Yureka 2 offers a tough competition for the likes of devices like Redmi Note 4 which are priced at a similar price range. Even though the older Android version is a downside, but besides that the device runs on great hardware and could be even a problem for the recently launched devices by Micromax itself.
