Micromax Canvas has unveiled all new Canvas Nitro A310 just a day back and already it is being compared with the android handsets like Motorola G(2nd gen), Xiaomi Mi3, etc. the qualities which make this handset worthy of the comparison is the specs which it is packs with. A Tru Octa core processor and that too at the tag of 12,990INR seems rare right? We already had a comparison with Moto G(2nd gen) in our previous segment.
Today we will be focusing on its other rival Xiaomi Mi3 which brags almost similar specs but only you have to decide which one you want to go for.
Canvas Nitro A310 boasts 5” IPS HD display with 294 pixels per inch color depth and 178 degree of viewing angle. It also gets an Oleophobic coating so that one now is tension free about the finger prints stains.
On the other hand Xiaomi Mi3 sports 5” IPS HD Display with 441 pixels per inch color depth. For protection it uses corning gorilla glass 3 coating.
OS and Processor:
Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 functions on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat version out of the box while Xiami Mi3 operates on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version which can be updated to android 4.4.4 Kitkat version.
As far as the processor part is concerned Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 runs on 1.7GHz tru-Octa core processor based on MediaTek 6592 chipset. It holds Quad core ARM Mali 450@700MHz GPU which is coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM. With 1.7GHz processor there is hardly any room for hanging issues, moreover multi-tasking will be now much more entertaining and easy.
On the other hand Xiaomi MI3 uses quad core processor clocked at 2.3GHz frequency based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8274B chipset. It holds Adreno 330 450MHz GPU mated along with 2GB of internal RAM.
Both Mi3 and Nitro A310 houses 13MP of rear snapper. Mi3 rear camera is coupled along with 2MP of rear camera while Canvas Nitro A310 uses 5MP of front facing camera which provides extremely better picture quality. With front camera one can easily click selfies and can have video call with their family and friends.
Coming to the lifeline of android system, Micromax Nitro A310 houses 2500mah battery claiming talk time of 10h, stand by time of 320h, 3G internet usage time of 5h and 2G internet usage time of 10h 42 minutes. On the other hand Xiaomi packs non-removable Li-Ion 3050mAh battery promising talk time of 25h, stand by time of 500h and can play music up to 50h.
Micromax A310 bears 8GB of internal ROM with external memory expandable up to 32GB while Mi3 do not offer expandable memory but one can have two options in the internal memory, one is 16GB and other is 64GB. However 64GB won’t be available in India.
Both come up with the features like Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, 3G, 2G etc They also have 3.5mm ear jack and Micro USB connectors.
