There always have been competition of Micromax with the biggies like Samsung or apple, and it seems the company has finally managed to increase their share with the help of fine innovations which they have done in the past like introducing hexa cores handsets first time in the mid range segment, or prefaces handset with both rear and front camera in the price range below INR 10,000. The company has always attempted to provide best of the features and this is the why company has become largest handset vendor all over India in Q2 2014.
Micromax has successfully jumped from 11th rank to 10th rank and left the rivals like Lava, Xolo etc far behind. All the companies now have to keep themselves at the fine pace to compete with the the vendor which is evolving at such a large gait.
This is the very first time when any Indian company has surmounted the company like Samsung which is the reigning king of the handset market. Clearly Micromax has always focused on the area on which Samsung never worked like when Samsung was busy in introducing slightly out dated specs in the low range, Micromax tried its luck by delivering latest specs like latest android Kitkat 4.4 or front camera that too with fine quality etc in their handsets below 10000INR which is an achievement in itself. The company also assures the quality which no other company like Xolo or Lava claims.
Even it is a very proud moment for India, as the Indian brands collectively has steered the two third of total mobile phone shipments. Even the Indian brands have managed to swipe more than half of the shares in smart phone shipment in Q2 2014.
