Recently keeping in mind the high fever of Selfie, even Micromax launched two models which mainly focus on the high front camera quality. These two ventures have been named as Canvas Selfie and Canvas Selfie Lens. As their name suggests the USP of these handsets is the front camera which delivers decent picture quality.

Canvas Selfie A255 comes up with 4.7” IPS HD Display and to prevent the scratches on the screen it also includes corning gorilla glass 3 protection. While Canvas Selfie Lens on the other hand 5” HD IPS Display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well to prevent the screen from scratches.

Clearly Canvas Selfie Lens is ahead since it got large screen which will let one enjoy movies and videos on larger display.



Canvas Selfie runs on 1.7GHz Tru Octa Core Processor which is based on MediaTek MTK 6592 chipset. The processor will be coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM. It operates on Android Kitkat V4.4.2 which is slightly outdated.

Canvas Selfie Lens is powered by quad-core processor clocked at the frequency of 1.3GHz. The processor will be based on MediaTek MT6582 chipset and will be coupled along with 1GB of internal RAM. It will function on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
Clearly Canvas Selfie delivers better performance since it incorporates Octa-Core processor which not only ensures glitch free multitasking but also better power efficiency.



Micromax A255 Selfie accommodates 13MP rear camera with 13MP Front camera with various beauty techniques like Smoothen skin, skin whitening, removes oil etc.

Micromax Q345 Selfie Lens on the other hand houses 8MP of rear camera with 5MP of camera at the front. Rear camera uses largan lenses and sensors by Sony while front lens use largan lenses and OV Sensors.


Battery and connectivity:

A255 bears 2300mAh battery claiming talk time up to 8.5h and stand by time up to 198h. While Q345 proffer 2800mAh battery promising talk time up to 9h and stand by time up to 374h.

Both include connectivity options like Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, GPS etc.



Canvas Selfie A255 bears 16GB of internal memory out of which 12.14GB is available for apps as well as mass storage. External memory is also provided which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of MicroSD card slot.

Canvas Selfie Lens Q345 on the other hand offers 8GB of memory on board with expandable external memory up to 32GB.

    This phone looks so bad and camera quality not clear with 13MP …….5MP samsung camera quality better than micromax 13mp camera….
