Micromax has introduced the smart phones which not only deliver appealing features but are also available at eye-boggling price tag. Micromax has recently launched Canvas Pep whose USP is the price tag at which it is available. And Unite 2 and Canvas A1 are already available in the market and were introduced last year.
Canvas A1 is known for the very fact that it is upgradable up to latest Android v5.0 as the update is provided by Google itself. Today we will be discussing these three handsets according to their specs and features.
Canvas A1 and Pep are 4.5” handset having FWVGA IPS Display which offers screen resolution of 480X854 pixels. While Canvas Unite 2 on the other hand sports a little large display with 4.7” bright graph IPS Display offering screen resolution of 480X800 pixels. Unite 2 do claims large display size but Canvas Pep and A1 have better screen resolution though there is a small difference.
Processor & OS Front:
A1, Pep and Unite 2 all three run on quad-core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.3GHz. The processor is coupled along with 1GB of internal RAM. Even all the three operates on Android 4.4 Kitkat version and therefore they include all the features which this Android version promises like Okay Google, Prioritized Contact list and hangout app. So basically all the three are equal in terms of the software on which they work.
All the three posses 5MP of rear snapper which delivers decent camera quality but the difference lies in the front camera included by them. A1 and Unite 2 proclaim 2 MP of front facing camera while Canvas Pep include 0.3 MP of front snapper. All the three smart phones have the ability to run and playback the videos at 720pixels.
Pep and Unite 2 bear 8GB of memory on board and have external memory which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of MicroSD card slot, while Canvas A1 houses 4GB of memory on-board with external memory expandable up to 32GB.
All the three accommodate connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, 3G, 2G etc. They also include 3.5mm ear jack and MicroUSB as connectors.
Unite 2 proclaims sensors like Motion and Proximity. MMX Pep and Canvas A1 on the other hand include sensors like proximity, gravity and light.
