Micromax Canvas Juice 2 AQ5001 vs Xiaomi Note 4G vs YU Yureka

Recently we have informed our readers that Micromax is planning to launch Canvas Juice 2 which is the successor of successful Canvas Juice smartphone. Going by the specs we can expect this device to be priced below Rs 10,000. There are two handsets with higher end specs available at tag below Rs 10,000 that are YU Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.

We have already mentioned in our last segment about the specs of the device and today we will be discussing the comparison between these three handsets.

NOTE: This is a short comparison between these three devices as we don’t have the complete specs details about Juice 2 at the moment.


Juice 2 boasts 5” HD Display and gets its protection from corning gorilla glass 3 which will help in keeping the smartphone scratch free. Both Yureka and Note 4G on the other hand come up with 5.5” IPS LCD Display delivering screen resolution of 720X1280 pixels with corning gorilla glass 3 protection.


Juice 2 operates on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Xiaomi Note 4G functions on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is upgradable up to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat version which is layered by MIUI 5.0 layer. Yureka on the other hand boasts Android 4.4.2 Kitkat version and includes Cyanogen based OS i.e CyanogenMod 11S and is subjected to receive Lollipop update by Cyanogen.


Micromax AQ5001 runs on 1.3GHz Quad core processor which is coupled with 2GB of internal RAM. Xiaomi Note 4G has Cortex A-7 Quad core processor clocked at the frequency of 1.6GHz and the processor is coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM. It proclaims Adreno 305 GPU and is based on Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 chipset. Yu Yureka accommodates 1.7GHz Coertx A-53 quad-core processor and 1.0 GHz Cortex A-53 processor which will be mated along with 2GB of internal RAM. It offers Adreno 405GPU and the processor is based on Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset.


MMX AQ5001 bears 8GB of memory on board and very obviously it will offer expandable external memory. Xioami Note 4G also accommodates 8GB of internal ROM and external memory is expandable up to 64 GB. Yureka includes 16GB of memory on board with external memory expandable up to 32GB.


Juice 2 sports 8MP of rear camera with flash and front facing camera of 2MP. Both Xiaomi not 4G and Yu Yureka claims 13MP of rear snapper along with 5MP of front facing camera with camera features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, etc.


USP of Juice 2 is its battery itself, it houses 3000mAh of battery but Xiaomi Note 4G take over with its 3100mAh battery backup which promises talk time up to 14h on 3G and stand by time up to 775h on 3G. Yureka on the other hand proclaims 2500mAh battery claiming talk time up to 8h and stand by time up to 210h.


All the three handsets offer connectivity features like Bluetooth, USB, Bluetooth, 3G etc. Both Xiaomi Note 4G and Yureka support 4G LTE but we have no information about Canvas Juice 2 most probably it would be a 3G device rest we will have more information once the device is out officially.
