Micromax has recently launched all new canvas Hue which boasts incredible visual experience with spectacular specifications. On the other hand we have canvas Nitro which is known for its sleek looks. Nitro features octa-core processor while Hue has a quad-core processor and not to forget Hue guarantees Lollipop update but the same is not known for Nitro.
Today we will compare both in terms of their specs and their price as well which is quite similar.

All new canvas hue flaunts 5” AMOLED HD Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. To deliver rich image quality it offers 16.7 million color depth and 293ppi pixel density. While Canvas Nitro also sports 5” HD IPS Screen with Oleophobic coating. It claims 294ppi and 178 degree viewing angle.
Processor & Operating System:
Hue accommodates quad-core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.3GHz. the processor is coupled along with 1GB of internal RAM. 2015 is a year of 64 bit processor and therefore cortex A-7 based quad-core processor looks slightly outdated. On the other hand Canvas Nitro acclaim Tru Octa core processor based on MediaTek 6592 coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM. Tru Octa core processor is clocked at 1.7GHz clock frequency. Both run on latest Android Kitkat 4.4 out of the box. Canvas Hue operating system is upgradable up to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
After processor and Display, the one feature which all users want to be of a good quality is the camera. Today one can easily get a camera of 8MP within Rs 10000 range. And not breaking the trend, Hue offers 8MP of rear snapper with auto focus and LED flash. It has used Sony sensors to highlight the camera feature. It accommodates 2MP of front facing camera to click selfies or for video calling.
Coming to the Nitro A311 then it houses 13MP of rear snapper with Sony IMX 135 CMOS sensors while it have 5MP of BSI Fixed Focus camera with OV5648 sensors and Blue Glass filter. Rear camera features F2.2 aperture and rear wide-angle of 28mm.
Hue AQ5000 houses 3000mAh battery capacity claiming talk time of 9.5h and stand by time of 280h. Canvas A311 bears 2500mAh battery promising talk time of 10h and standby time of 320h.
Both features connectivity features like 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS etc.
Hue bears 8GB of internal memory out of which 5.46GB is available for apps and mass storage and external memory expandable up to 32GB, while Canvas Nitro A311 houses 16GB of internal ROM and external memory expandable up to 32GB.
Micromax Nitro A311 is available in amazing colors like pristine white and mystic blue. While Micromax Hue is available only in one color and it includes pre-loaded apps like M! Live, Games, Videos, Music, Wall papers etc.
