New Micromax phone with Android one have features like 4.5” inches display, though its screen resolution and display type is not mentioned anywhere. We all know Micromax is known for its latest and quality of specs which it provides in each handset.

Sundar Pichai announced this new program called Android One which is specially designed to help OEM to let them build affordable smartphones. Android One is essentially a hardware as well as software reference.

According to a recent report only 10% of Indian population posses a smartphone, so basically the motive of Google is to provide ultra cheap handsets at an affordable range. As you might have observed that cheap handsets doesn’t offer decent hardware specs so with Android one they want to remove all such flaws.

The Micromax Phone as per the above image  supports dual SIM card slot along with MicroSD card slot, FM radio and the most important thing it will be available in the 100$ price tag. Pichai has even assured that whichever phone will come from the company will be of latest android version. And the reason behind this fact is that Google itself will release latest updates just like the way in which it will handle GPE devices.

Android One will allow the facility for OEMs to preload some of the local apps. With latest features and latest software version and that to under the range of 100$, what else one can expect.

Google is trying to kick off the program in India in collaboration with the local companies like Micromax, Karbonn and Spice.

Micromax Phone (Name not announced yet) with Android One features:

  • 4.5 inches display with no information yet on screen resolution and display type.
  • Latest android version with all the updates from Google itself
  • FM radio
  • Connectivity options like Bluetooth, WiFi etc

If look at the strategy, it is quite similar to that of Micromax. As we all know, one wants quality in their phones and that too in an affordable range. And Sundar Pichai is focusing on delivering latest specs only. Therefore only he is making sure that one can get latest available android version whenever the device will be released.

Apart from that the price of Android One is also the USP of the gadget, Who can expect latest android phone with dual SIM and other quality features within just 100$. Sundar Pichai has managed to grab all the points which one consider while buying any android phone in the lower range. As we don’t know exactly what all will be the specs and features we can’t comment anything more. However, once we will get any information we will soon update it on our website.
