Since Canvas Knight was considered as the best android till the date from Micromax but now with Canvas gold it looks likes this place will now be reserved for Gold only.

Though there is no comparison as Gold features Android 4.4.2 kitkat version while Knight still operates on out dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean and even talking about the processor, Gold stands apart with its 2GB internal RAM and octa core processor clocked at the frequency of 2GHz. We are comparing both the gadgets here and now readers have to decide what they want.

Canvas Knight VS Canvas Gold Octa Core phones comparison

Display:

Canvas Knight boasts 5” inches screen size with IPS screen type and full HD display. While Canvas Gold is touted to have 5.5” inches full HD display with screen resolution of 1920X1080 pixels.

 

Processor:

Micromax Canvas Knight runs on octa core processor clocked at the frequency of 1.7GHz while Canvas Gold runs on 2GHz Octa core processor. Clearly Gold will deliver better performance with 2GHZ clock frequency.

 

Operating system:

Canvas Knight functions on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean while Canvas Gold operates on latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat version out of the box.

 

Camera:

Canvas Knight sports 16MP camera with auto focus and (3456*4608) image resolution. Its rear camera is mated with 8MP camera with (2448*3264) image resolution. Canvas Knight also have LED flash to brighten the dull images. On the other hand Canvas gold bear 16MP rear camera along with Sony image sensors couples with 5MP front facing camera for video calling and clicking profile photos for various networking sites.

 

Battery:

Canvas Knight houses 2350mah battery capacity promising talk time of 7.5 hours and stand by time of 175 hours. Canvas Gold on the other hand features 2300mah battery claiming talk time of 8 hours and stand by time of 210 hours.

 

Memory:

Canvas Knight Bear 2GB DDR2 RAM along with 32GB of internal RAM out of which 25GB is available for mass storage and 1.5GB for application. Talking about Canvas Gold, it provides 2GB of internal RAM out of which 25GB will be available for mass storage and 1GB for apps. None of them offer the advantage of expandable memory which can be a little disappointing.

 

Connectivity:

Both Canvas Knight and Canvas gold, just like other gadgets from the Canvas flagship provides the options like WiFi, USB, Bluetooth etc for the purpose of connectivity.
