Micromax has teamed up with MediaTek in offering budget 4G LTE devices. Micromax is going to launch three devices with this chipset in this September and we can expect more devices to be launched by the company by Diwali this year. The company would also be launching a device with Helio X10 chipset. The first device that is announced is the Canvas Fire 4G which is going to be a budget 4G device by Micromax at a price tag of around $100, the exact price has not been revealed yet.
After this collaboration, Micromax will be launching budget 4G Mediatek powered devices. Fire series already has 3-4 devices under it and Fire 4G is going to be the next one. The series is famous because of the presence of dual front speakers.
Coming to the specifications section of this device, it features a 4.5 inche screen and is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz and is based on MT6735M (64-bit processor) with 1GB of RAM.
The internal storage provided is 8GB and we can expect the device to have an expandable storage of up to 32GB via an external SD card. We don’t have the complete specifications details of this device as it has not been listed on the official site with detailed information however you can get the glimpse after reading this post on what you’d be getting inside the device.
There is a 5MP snapper at rear and a front one of 2MP. A single LED flash is also present at the back. The battery capacity isn’t known yet however once it is officially launched and listed on the official site we will write a detailed post on the same.
It will be running on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. A 4G LTE device and since it would be an affordable one then it will be competing directly with YU’s 4G devices, Xiaomi’s and with other brands as well.
