Recently Micromax launched their latest smart phone i.e Canvas Xpress 2 which is the second installment of the popular Canvas Xpress flagship. This handset is available at the price of Rs 5,999. The USP of the handset which company has been touted as saying is its Octa core processor at such an affordable tag.
But there are certain handsets which are already available in the market at this price range. Today we will be comparing this handset against Moto E which was launched this February.

Canvas Xpress 2 is a 5” handset which delivers 720X1080p screen resolution and 294ppi pixels density. It also comes along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection and to provide finger resistance Olephobic coating is also incorporated. On the other hand Moto E(2nd Gen) sports 4.5” display claiming 540X960p screen resolution and 245ppi pixel density. It also comes along with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and Oleophobic coating.
E313 Xpress 2 runs on Octa core processor which is clocked at the frequency 1.4GHz. The processor is based on MediaTek Mt6592M chipset and is coupled along with 1GB of internal RAM. Talking about Moto E 2nd Gen then it runs on 1.2GHZ Cortex A-53 quad core processor which is based on Qualcomm snapdragon 410 chipset. It also encompasses Adreno 306 GPU to enhance the graphics. Here the processor is mated along with 1GB of internal RAM.
Camera and Memory:
Xpress 2 features 13MP of rear snapper and 2MP of front facing camera for clicking selfies and video calling. It boasts other features like dual LED Flash, auto focus, BSI rear camera with OV Sensors and Largan 5P Lenses, f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash etc.
Coming to Moto E 2nd gen then we have 5MP of rear camera along with 0.3MP front camera. It includes features like Geo-tagging, HDR, panorama etc.
Both the devices bear 8GB of memory on board which is further expandable up to 32GB with the help of Micro SD card.
Connectivity and connectors:
Both proclaim basic connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G etc. Moto E 2nd Gen offers 4G LTE Connectivity while Xpress 2 does not entail this feature. Both accommodate connectors like 3.5mm ear jack and Micro USB.
Canvas Xpress 2 houses 2500mAh battery which promises talk time up to 9h and 30 minutes and stand by time up to 393h on 3G while Moto E 2nd gen incorporates 2390mah battery capacity.
