And the exciting news is that India will be the very first to have ‘Android One’ handsets and its success in India will be the deciding factor whether it will be launched in other countries or not.

Android One is basically a new venture of the giant company ‘Google’. This biggie has collaborated along with companies like Micromax, Karbonn, Spice which are known for their affordable price tags. Google has tried to unveil the handset which includes the specs like dual SIM capabilities, 1GB of internal RAM, quad-core processor, internal memory which is expandable, 4” screen size, latest android 4.4.4 Kitkat out of the box. And the icing on the top is that the Google will provide latest Android L update in October which means that whenever there will be any Android update, it will be at the very same time will be available for the “Android One” users also.
Basically Android one is nothing but a reference platform which the companies like Micromax, Spice and Karbonn can use to generate the android phones in the low-budget. Moreover it also ensures that these devices do run Google’s latest OS. The new Android One based devices will be soon available in the coming week of September. Initially the company decided to bring this device in the range if just $100 that is INR 6,000. But lately the price of the handset has been set between INR 7,000 to 10,000. But the one thing which can attract the customers is the fact that at this worth people can have the pleasure of mid to high range devices. So all in all it have all the qualities which one expect in a mid range handset.
