Today Google has launched the Android One phones in India which include the variant Micromax Canvas A1 also. As the phone has been unveiled it is very obvious that people must have commenced the comparison of this handset with various mobile present in the market currently.
And the one phone which we find its sole competitor right now is Canvas Unite 2 as it caters similar specs and is available in similar price tag. So today we will be focusing on the allegory of the two.
Micromax Canvas A1 brags 4.5” FWVGA (854X480pixels) display contrary to what Canvas series is known for. On the other hand Micromax Canvas Unite 2 boasts 4.7” display which is .2” larger than that of the CanvasA1 and include LCD screen with the resolution of 480X800pixels. Clearly though Unite 2 deliver large screen but for crisper and clear image quality I will go for Canvas A1.

CanvasA1 operates on latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat out of the box and the USP of the gadget is it will provide freshest of android version. On the other hand Canvas Unite 2 also functions on latest android Kitkat 4.4.2 Kitkat version but former will have the advantage that all the updates will be made available by Google itself which we can’t claim for Unite 2.
Both Canvas Unite 2 and Canvas A1 run on 1.3GHz quad core processor based on MediaTek MT6582 chipset. So there is barely any comparison in terms of processor as both ensures glitch free performance and it is very easy to swipe in between while multitasking.
