In Indian Smartphone market Micromax and Karbonn are known to be the real competitor in selling smartphones at an affordable price. After the release of MTK octa core chipsets Intex was the first mobile company to bring their first octa core phone Intex Aqua Octa to the Indian smartphone market and then Micromax announced about the canvas knight and here is now Karbonn’s turn. Karbonn has launched two Octa core devices yesterday which are set to be competing with the all new canvas knight from MMX.
The above image is of Karbonn Octane Plus. I must say these two phones will give a very tough competition to the new canvas knight. There has been a rumor around the web that Micromax will soon come up with their second octa core device (A300 may be) with 1.7GHz octa core processor but nothing is confirmed regarding the same.
Karbonn launched Karbonn Titanium Octane and Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus yesterday and we have specified an overview of the specifications below.
Both the phones comes with Android Kitkat operating system which is quite good as MMX users are still waiting to get this update on their device.
As the name suggests the phone comes with MTK MT6592 1.7 GHz octa core processor. Octane comes with 1GB RAM where as the Plus version comes with 2Gb RAM.
Karbonn Octane comes with 5 inch screen with 720p resolution and Octane plus with Full HD 1080. The battery capacity in these two phones is 2000mAh.
Interesting point to note is that the phones would be available at a price lower than the MMX knight.
We will be posting the comprising of these two devices with canvas knight on our site soon.
