As we all know, Micromax launched Canvas Xpress 2 which is another budget smart phone offering decent specs, it is very obvious that it will be compared with the other already available handsets like Lenovo K3 Note, Yu Yuphoria, Xiaomi Redmi 2 etc.
We have already mentioned the comparison of Xpress 2 with Yuphoria and Redmi 2 in our previous segment, today we will be comparing this second installment of popular Canvas Xpress with Lenovo K3 Note which was launched few months back.
Canvas Xpress 2 sports 5” HD IPS display and also incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with Oleophobic coating. It offers 178 degree of viewing angle and 294ppi pixel density. Lenovo K3 Note on the other hand boasts 5.5” IPS display delivering screen resolution up to 1080X1920p. It proclaims 401ppi pixels density.
Clearly Lenovo K3 comes up as a better option if one wants to have the pleasure of watching videos, movies etc on large screen but Canvas Xpress 2 very obviously is more handy.
Software & Processor:
Xpress 2 runs on Octa core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.4GHz. There is graphic processor which is based on Mali 450 GPU which enhances 3D renditions. The processor is coupled along with 1GB of internal RAM. Coming to K3 Note then it is also powered by Octa core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.7GHz. The processor is based on MediaTek MT6572 chipset and is coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM. It accommodates Mali T760MP2 GPU to augment the graphics.
Canvas Xpress 2 operates on Android Kitkat V4.4 which is slightly out dated while Lenovo K3 Note functions on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
Camera and Memory:
Both houses 13MP of rear shooter with the difference in their front camera, Xpress 2 brags 2MP of front shooter while Lenovo K3 Note entails 5MP of camera at the front.
Canvas Xpress 2 bears 8GB of memory on board while Lenovo K3 Note brings 16GB of memory on board. Both encompasses external memory expandable up to 32GB.
Battery and connectivity:
Xpress 2 appends 2500mAh battery claiming talk time up to 9h 30 mins and stand by time up to 393h. On the other hand Lenovo K3 Note encloses 3000mAh battery promising talk time up to 36h and stand by time up to 750h.
Both interpolates connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, GPS, 3G etc. Lenovo K3 Note supports 4G LTE connectivity while this is not the case with Canvas Xpress 2.
