Both Moto E and Canvas A1 are the low-end devices which have created fizzle because of the fact that they both have provided uncompromising specs at such a price tag. Micromax Canvas A1 is touted as best of all the phones presented by the Indian android maker on the other hand Moto E at its time of release shook the Indian android market ruled by the companies like Samsung, Micromax etc.
The best thing is both the android phones are present within Rs. 7,000 range and that too with specs capable enough to compete against mid range smartphones.

Micromax A1 makes one feels extremely stylish and fashionable with its rubber-like removable back which gives smooth sensation when touched. Camera is placed at the rear with a slight bump which give it the look quite similar to that of Nokia Pureview. The front part is covered by dark chrome trim. At the same time Moto E boasts dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 A7 processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.2GHz mated with Adreno 302 chipset. MMX A1 has effectively and smoothly outpaced the performance of Moto E, there is hardly any room for the glitches and staggering.
Canvas A1 sports 5MP camera at the rear with 2MP camera at the front for clicking selfies and to set up video calls to talk to the family members and friends. Both Moto E and Canvas A1 bear 4GB of memory on board in sync with 1GB of internal RAM and external memory expandable up to 32GB. Moto E can work efficiently on 64GB card.
Canvas A1 offers Li-Ion 1700mah battery which claim talk time of 6 h and stand by time of 160h however Moto E houses non removable Li-Ion battery promising 24 hours of mixed media usage.

The biggest snag of Micromax A1 is that one cannot use camera in the absence of external memory card support on the other hand Moto E do not have front camera which means no selfies or video calling. Apart from that Moto E also not have the feature of auto focus.
