Recently Micromax launched all new Canvas fire 4 to compete against Moto E. Since last year Motorola gained popularity with its smartphones offering at quite affordable price tag. Until now Micromax is primarily known for delivering smart phone having decent specs at pocket friendly price tag but as the competition is increasing it becomes very important for the company to come up with a better solution and here we have Canvas Fire 4 with latest Android OS.
It is a good antagonist to Moto E (2nd Gen) which is known for catering similar specs. We will compare these handsets on the basis of their features so that one can distinguish the best one.

Canvas Fire 4 and Moto e 2nd Gen both boast 4.5” IPS LCD and the main difference lies in the screen resolution and pixel density offered by them. Canvas Fire 4 flaunts screen resolution of 480X854 pixels and 218ppi pixel density while Moto E 2nd Gen offers 540X960ppi and 245 ppi pixel density. To protect the screen from damage both comes up with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. Moto E 2nd Gen also caters Olephobic Coating.
Both functions on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, it is a good thing as their corrivals are still working on Android 4.4 Kitkat version.
Fire 4 runs on Quad core Cortex A-7 processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.3GHz. the processor is based on MediaTek MT6582M chipset and delivers Mali 400 MP2 GPU. Processor is coupled along with 1GB of internal RAM. Talking about Moto E 2nd Gen then we have two variants here one is 3G model which runs on 1.2GHz Cortex A7 Quad core processor and Adreno 302 GPU while LTE Model (yet to be made available in India) runs on 1.2GHz Quad core Cortex A53 processor and Adreno 306 GPU.
Fire 4 A107 sports 8MP of rear camera which is coupled along with 2MP of front facing camera. It offers camera features like Geo-tagging, LED Flash, Auto Focus etc. Moto E accommodates 5MP of rear snapper with 0.3MP of front snapper. It comes up with camera features like Geo-tagging, panorama and HDR.
Both proffer connectivity features like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS etc. And both include 3.5 mm ear jack and Micro USB as connectors.
Both bear 1GB of internal RAM which is coupled along with 8GB of internal memory. External memory is expandable up to 32 GB through Micro SD card slot on both smart phones.
Both include proximity and accelerometer as sensors.
Canvas Fire 4 houses 2000mah battery promising talk time up to 7h and stand by time up to 300h. On the other Moto E 2nd Gen gets its power from 2390mAh Li-Ion battery.
