Mid-range segment has become the first choice of the mobile brands as they combine quality with fair prices so as to generate profit. This is the reason competition has become so fierce in the mid-segment range by the presence of companies like Xiaomi, Micromax, Lenovo, OnePlus etc.
Micromax recently launched Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro in the midrange segment and both of these smartphones bear quite resemblance in their specs and features. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is also one such handset which is quite popular among the customers. Today we will be comparing these three handsets.
All the three handsets sports 5.5”IPS LCD Display promising screen resolution up to 1080X1920p. Only difference is that Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 doesn’t have any scratch resistant protection like Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro.
Both Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro functions on Octa-core processor clocked at the clock frequency of 2.0GHz. Both are powered by MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset. Redmi Note 3 on the other hand runs on Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 processor. All the three work on slightly outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating system.
Both Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro have 13MP camera at the rear with LED Flash while Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 bears 16MP shooter at the rear. Canvas 6 mounts 8MP camera at the front while both Canvas 6 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 accommodates 5MP of selfie camera.
Both Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro entail 3000mAh battery while Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 includes 4000mAh battery at the back end.
Note: Redmi Note 3 has a hybrid SIM slot in which the second SIM slot can be used for SD card. Canvas 6 and 6 Pro has a dedicated SD card slot.
